General Body Meetings
Fourth Monday of the Month, 6:30 p.m. (DOES NOT MEET IN AUGUST AND DECEMBER.)
The purpose of this meeting is for the Deanwood Citizens Association Executive Officers to update the Association’s membership and the Deanwood community on recent happenings; hear from District leaders about the progress of the Association’s priorities; hear residents’ interests; and fellowship with neighbors.
Residents and other stakeholders are strongly encouraged to attend.
Hopefully we will see everyone out for tonight’s meeting. It will be held at Ron Brown Middle School which is located at 4800 Meade ST NE The meeting will start at 6:30PM.

A reminder about the upcoming Zoning Regulation Review community meeting being held in Ward 7 on Saturday, January 12, 2013, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Room 2309/10, DOES Building, 4058 Minnesota Ave. NE, adjacent to the Minnesota metro station on the orange line. We hope that you will be able to attend this meeting, but OP will also be hosting one more ward community meeting in January (Ward 4, on Wednesday, January 16th). OP will be presenting the same information at each meeting, so you should feel free to attend the one that is most convenient for you.
Copies of the draft proposed text are available on our website – www.DCZoningUpdate.org, with links from our blogsite – http://www.ZoningDC.org, and a paper copy is also available for viewing at the Office of Planning (6th floor, 1100-4th Street SW) and at various libraries across the city.

These meetings will be extremely helpful in providing a better understanding of the community’s concerns about Verizon’s telephone services when the Office represents consumers at the Public Service Commission’s Formal Case 1090 evidentiary hearings.
