The USDA Farmers Market features farmers/vendors from across the metro area selling fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, prepared foods, baked goods, kettle popcorn, local honey products, hand-made soap and more. The market is open every Friday through the fall from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the USDA Headquarters Building parking lot at the corner of 12th Street & Independence Avenue, S.W. A special opening ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m.
The USDA Farmers Market is another part of the DC community that makes our city such a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
