In the coming week, Metro will be hosting six public hearings to receive comments on Metro’s FY15 fare proposals and capital improvement program. Each public hearing will begin at 6:30PM and be preceded by an informal “Information Session,” starting at 6:00PM. Two hearings are scheduled in Maryland:
Monday, Feb. 3 Matthews Memorial Baptist Church – Hearing 591 Fellowship Hall 2616 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., SE Washington, DC
Thursday, Feb. 6 Metro Headquarters Building – Hearing 594 600 5th Street, NW Washington, DC
To facilitate additional means for the public to provide feedback, Metro is also hosting an online budget survey and will accept written comments. The online survey can be taken at www.wmata.com/budgetsurvey and is open until 5:00PM. on February 11. Written statements and exhibits may be sent to the Office of the Secretary, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, 600 Fifth Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001, or e-mailed to email@example.com. Statements also may be faxed to 202-962-1133. Written statements must be received by 5:00PM on Tuesday, February 11.
